Counter-Geek started out as a place where I could present my thoughts on all things "geek," in a three-panel comic strip format. I got really bored with this idea, and quickly abandoned it.
About two years later, I decided I wanted to have a place to talk about nerdy things, and resurrected the blog.
At the time of this writing, it's been just about two months since the Counter-Geek resurrection, and I'm loving it. I don't see me stopping anytime soon, but I'm not going to make any promises that are further out than a couple of weeks at a time.
Ideally, I'd like to eventually be "the next" X-Entertainment.com, but with more frequent updates. And probably with fewer pictures. And, uh, no advent calendars. I may eventually buy a proper domain name and switch over to something more robust, like WordPress, but, for now, Blogger is treating me just fine. Maybe if I can figure out a way to make some money doing this...
Positive feedback makes me want to write more! If you like Counter-Geek, let me know every now and then, in the comments section of one of the posts.
Take care, Geekies.
